How do we work together?
When we say that “every family deserves a doula”, it’s not just a catchy phrase to us. It means that we are committed to working with our clients to ensure that they prepare to have the birth that they want and support them even after the arrival of the new family member.
To the right is a simple list of what this collaboration entails.
1. Meet you and the family.
A new arrival is a momentous occasion and by meeting we learn about each other and get comfortable.
2. Discuss a plan
Your birth plan is completely yours! We are here to help you locate additional information and consider your birth options.
3. The big day(s)
During the delivery, your doula will provide continuous emotional and physical support to you.
4. Your new arrival is here!
We help you maximize the impact of your “golden hour” with your newborn and assist you with the first latch and feeding.
5. After the big day is over
We don’t just walk away! We follow up with a visit to help ensure that things are going well with you and the baby.
