On my way to Seattle!
Raise a hand if you only slept in your bed one full night last week.......
This week, we’re wrapping our arms around the midwives who show up with heart, wisdom, and fierce love for birthing people.

At A Caring Doula, we’ve had the joy of walking alongside midwives who listen deeply, advocate boldly, and hold space with tenderness. You remind us that birth is sacred, and that care can be both clinical and deeply human.

To every midwife who’s ever said “I’ve got you,” who’s stayed through the long nights, who’s made room for doulas, lactation folks, and neurodivergent families— thank you.

We see you. We love you. We’re so grateful for you.

Sometimes this job is really tough, like when I find myself crying in a public bathroom, tough. Being a doula and advocate is super rewarding, but it is also a lot of work.
That is why I make time for JOY. like petting these goats. The fun I had two weekends ago holding and petting these goats ( something so out of the norm for me) still makes me smile today. To my doula sisters, make time for joy; it restores balance and helps heal the soul.
June is Pride Month, and if you know anything about me, you know I support all people. I also want everyone to stay informed and safe. Here are some events happening around the city.
