At A Caring Doula, we believe every family deserves support that feels steady, respectful, and accessible.

While we do not accept Medicaid at this time, we never want finances to be the reason someone doesn’t reach out. If we're unable to serve you directly, we will do our best to help you find services or community resources that can meet your needs.

 

Each year, we offer a small number of sliding‑scale and pro bono spots for families who need additional support. These spaces are limited, but they are offered with intention and care. If you feel this may apply to your situation, you are welcome to inquire.

Insurance & Reimbursement

Right now, I’m not able to bill insurance directly. However, I am DONA‑certified, have an NPI number, and carry professional business insurance — all things that can make it easier for families to submit for possible reimbursement on their own. After our work together, I’ll provide a superbill you can send to your insurance company if you choose. Many families find this helpful when exploring their benefits. Every plan is different, so while I’m happy to support you in the process, I can’t guarantee reimbursement or coverage decisions made by your insurance provider.

Carrot Directory Listing

I’m listed in the Carrot Fertility Doula Directory, which may help some families use their employer benefits for doula support. If your plan includes this option, I’m happy to provide any documentation you need. Every employer plan is different, so being listed in the directory doesn’t guarantee reimbursement. Coverage decisions are made directly by Carrot and your benefits provider.
