LACTATION SERVICES

Real Support for the Realities of Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is often portrayed as instinctive and effortless.

But for many new parents, the reality looks very different.

Most families leave the hospital with only a basic overview of feeding. Once they’re home, they’re navigating exhaustion, postpartum recovery, and a learning curve they didn’t expect, often feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.

At A Caring Doula Lactation, we meet you right where you are.

CLC-Certified Lactation Support Personalized to You & Your Baby

We provide personalized, hands-on support to help you understand your baby’s feeding needs, troubleshoot common challenges, and build a feeding plan that works for your life.

We work together to address concerns like:

  • Latching pain or positioning challenges

  • Low milk supply or pumping concerns

  • Feeding difficulties

  • Slow weight gain

  • Bottle feeding or feeding transitions

  • Preparing to return to work

Beyond technique...

We'll help you understand what’s happening in your baby’s body, how much milk they need, what diaper patterns can tell you, and when it’s time to ask for help.

Our goal is to help you feel confident and supported feeding your baby.

Lactation Services

Whether you're looking for support before your baby arrives or after birth, our approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive always free of judgment.
