TaKiesha Smith, DONA-Certified doula, educator, & advocate
TaKiesha brings honest, experience-driven insight to conversations about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
Drawing from more than 25 years supporting families, she speaks on neurodivergent-affirming birth care, patient advocacy, and preparing families and professionals for the real decisions and challenges that arise during birth.
Her approach is practical, direct, and centered on creating safer, more supportive birth experiences for all families.

TaKiesha speaks regularly at conferences, panels, and professional events with notable events including:
Serving as a keynote speaker at the 2024 DONA Summit, speaking at previous DONA Summits, presenting at the 2023 Indiana Breastfeeding Conference, and serving as the Indiana State Ambassador for Count the Kicks annually since 2023.
